Upcoming Special Events
The Circus Arts Conservatory is kicking off the summer with exciting events!
Who says the summer is the slow season? We have lots of events and activities planned for Summer 2017 – including the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington, D.C.! We start off by helping out at some local events and receiving proceeds from them. Below are some special events you can attend to help support The Circus Arts Conservatory:
Make your weekend great by joining The Circus Arts Conservatory at Big Top Brewing Company’s 3rd Year Anniversary Festival, Saturday May 6 and Sunday May 7! There will be Sailor Circus performances, along with live music, carnival rides, food trucks and endless fun! Purchase your $10 wristband exclusively through The Circus Arts Conservatory (either online or in person at the event) to receive a discount on six core beers! All wristband proceeds go towards circus arts outreach programs. Online sales for wristbands end Friday, May 5th at 12:00 noon*. Printed confirmation of purchase and photo ID must be presented at the event to receive wristband. Must be 21 or older to purchase.
Don’t forget to taste an exclusive new Hazy IPA brewed specially for this event — CAC founder/CEO Pedro Reis and Tentmaster Luis Garcia helped brew it themselves! We can’t wait to see you there!
**Online wristband sales END at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 5, 2017**
Come and celebrate the circus arts in our community before we embark on an incredible journey to our nation’s capital! Join Sailor Circus once again in our iconic Arena for a special benefit performance on Tuesday, June 20 at 7:00 PM before we head out to represent Sarasota “On The Road to Washington” for the Smithsonian Folklife Festival! Get an exclusive look at what the students will be presenting to an audience of over 1 million people in Washington, D.C. this summer on a “circus playground” on the National Mall during the Smithsonian Folklife Festival! This festival appearance is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these students – and they can’t wait to give you, their hometown audience, a sneak peek!
General admission tickets for the 7:00 PM performance are $10. VIP tickets are $50, which includes a pre-show event from 5:30-6:45 PM with heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer, plus 7:00 PM show admission. Ticket sales begin Friday, May 5 at 12:00 noon.
