Amanda Lynch

Circus Arts Training Aerial Coach

Aerial Silks, Aerial Lyra

Amanda discovered circus in her mid-20s while completing an honors degree in theatre studies at the University of Queensland in Australia. After completing her degree, she postponed a scholarship opportunity for a doctorate and instead ran away to join the circus. After years of training in acts including aerial silks, aerial hoop, swinging trapeze with teachers including Rodleigh Stevens and Victor Fomine (Ecole Leotard), she began performing around the world. She has performed at international corporate galas, casino events, concerts and many more outlets in Europe, Asia and Australia. In 2013, she and Rodleigh (her now husband) worked together at Trix Circus School, which Rodleigh founded. Now, she has moved to the U.S. to coach aerial acts at Sailor Circus.
