Dominguez Poodles

A native of Bogotá, Colombia South America, Jorge Dominguez is a third-generation circus artist. He and his family came to the United States in 2004, where their “Globe of Death” act (motorcycles running together in a steel globe) that was featured in the 132nd edition of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Alcira, Jorge’s wife, hails from Peruvian circus family with whom she came to the United States in 2006 to perform with Carson & Barnes Circus.

They met; fell in love, married, and Jorge decided to change his daredevil act. He shared Alcira’s love of animals and together, they decided to create a dog act. They started with five poodles and added new members to their dog family, which they rescued from shelters around the country. Their eight-dog act “The Dominguez Poodle Review” has since performed across the United States in circuses, theme parks, fairs, festivals, and on Season 14 of America’s Got Talent.

They consider their dogs to be their family and they give care, attention, and most importantly much love, to each and every one of these talented and happy pooches.
