Oli Poitras

Chinese Pole

Oli Poitras was born in Quebec in 1991. At a young age, his parents realized that he had great acrobatics potential, so they enrolled him in the National Circus School of Montreal at the age of eleven. He spent his first seven years learning the many aspects of being a circus performer, and then entered the diploma of collegial studies program to master the art of the Chinese Pole. He then began his professional career working with Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Eloize and many more companies. Throughout his career he was always learning various other disciplines, including mastering the Trampoline Wall which took him to the Cirque du Soleil show “Volta.”
