Aerial Conditioning
Ages: 13+
Pre-registration required
Aerial Conditioning is designed to help students build the strength, control, and body awareness essential for success in all aerial arts. This class uses a variety of apparatus—including straps, silks, and trapeze—to guide students through targeted strength drills, core work, and conditioning exercises that support safe and steady aerial progression.
Students focus on upper-body strength, core engagement, stability, and endurance. Those with more experience will also have opportunities to challenge themselves with conditioning on aerial straps, strength-based poses, and progressive aerial figures.
Prerequisites
Students should have intermediate aerial awareness and be able to:
• Complete at least two pull-ups
• Perform 3–5 leg lifts
• Do a straight-arm straddle inversion
Recommended: Wrist guards or supports for added comfort and protection.
This class is a great way for aerialists to grow stronger, feel more confident, and build the foundational strength needed to advance safely in any aerial discipline.
