Michael Salmon serves as Chief of Staff and Board Liaison at The Circus Arts Conservatory, bringing with him the insight gained from 18 years of leadership in educational administration. A former Board of Trustees member at The Circus Arts Conservatory, Michael offers a rare blend of institutional knowledge, strategic vision, and creative energy to his role. Throughout his career, he has excelled in recruitment, enrollment management, and fundraising, leading teams to achieve record enrollment numbers and fundraising milestones. Michael believes much of his success stems from the meaningful relationships he’s built and his ability to work collaboratively with all parties and stakeholders.
Michael’s background extends beyond administration. As an accomplished springboard diver, he claimed seven All-America awards and two NCAA Division III National Championship titles. He was named NCAA Diver of the Meet at the 2006 Championships, and was recognized in both Sports Illustrated and ESPN the Magazine. His athletic journey also included performing as a springboard and high diver from 2004 to 2006, experiences that deepened his appreciation for the circus arts.
At The Circus Arts Conservatory, Michael looks forward to serving as chief advisor to the CEO & president, as well as to the Board of Trustees. He is excited to honor the legacy of the circus arts while supporting and empowering the next generation of performers.
