Sailor Circus returns to the Big Top for two performances Saturday of “The Greatest ‘Little’ Show on Earth.” The family-friendly production features awesomely-talented local students ages 8 to 18 displaying their skills with acts such as Acrobatic Adagio, Teeterboard, Lyra, Trampoline, Swinging Cradle, Juggling, Roller Skating, Aerial Silks, Web, Slack Line and more.  Sailor Circus Academy students will shine under the spotlight as they present the 69th annual spring performance of “The Greatest ‘Little’ Show on Earth” – for one day only under the Big Top in Nathan Benderson Park behind the Mall at UTC. “CIRQUE DES VOIX”: The Circus Arts Conservatory partners with Key Chorale to celebrate the music of Danny Elfman (best known for scoring Tim Burton films) with this performance of singing, circus acts and orchestral music. More.

Circus Sarasota has produced another thrilling success with “Ovation,” the company’s annual big top showcase, which this year honors the 250th anniversary of the modern circus with first-rate acts from around the world. Featured performers include hand-balance Duo KVAS, French juggling ace Kris Kremo, the Juju tight wire act, and Sylvia Zerbini and her handsome horses. More.

On Feb. 15, The Circus Arts Conservatory Big Top welcomed more than 660 attendees, including philanthropist Wendy Feinstein and guests from 19 care and assisted-living facilities and schools for a special abbreviated performance of Circus Sarasota’s Ovation. More.
