Circus Arts Conservatory Debuts Cirque Vogue
A Champagne Luncheon Where Fashion Takes Flight to Benefit Youth Education Programs

Sarasota, FL — For one day only, the Circus Arts Conservatory (CAC) will unveil an extraordinary new production, Cirque Vogue, an immersive fusion of fashion and the artistry of circus performance. Taking place on Thursday, May 14 at the Circus Arts Conservatory Arena, this champagne luncheon event will transform the traditional runway into a dynamic arena where couture and circus collide in a visually stunning showcase.

“This is not a typical luncheon and fashion show. It is art in motion—whimsical, immersive, and imaginable only within the world of the circus—an experience that exists for one afternoon only,” said Jennifer Mitchell, CEO and President of CAC.

At the heart of the event is an exclusive presentation of circus costuming from Feld Entertainment, stewards of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. These handcrafted, custom-designed Ringling Circus costumes will be blended with fashion pieces from Foxy Lady, a Sarasota fashion boutique. Each Ringling piece, radiating with vivid colors and unique character, is poised to turn the runway into a breathtaking spectacle that mirrors the circus’s energy and vibrancy.

Adding to the allure, CAC Co-Founder Dolly Jacobs will present a personal exhibit of her iconic performance wardrobe, featuring exquisite center-ring formal gowns and stand out show pieces from her distinguished career with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, and Circus Sarasota. This private collection will be displayed exclusively at Cirque Vogue.

Foxy Lady has been dressing Dolly for decades, and we’re excited to collaborate with CAC and Feld on this unique showcase of fashion,” said Jodi Frauhiger, General Manager. “We bring a fresh perspective to Sarasota, featuring standout designers from New York, Los Angeles, and across the globe so we will have of our clothes on the runway and in a pop-up boutique.”

The impetus for Cirque Vogue was two-fold. First, a 347% increase in requests for financial assistance for camps and Sailor Circus Academy. And second, the CAC’s mission to honor its legacy by reimagining the art of circus for a new era. Collaborating with Feld Entertainment, Dolly Jacobs and Foxy Lady has created a new cultural opportunity to showcase Sarasota’s circus heritage.

“We are encouraging everyone to sparkle, accessorize with style, and prepare to shine in the spotlight—all in support of our youth programs that inspire children to dream bigger, reach higher, and defy limits through the circus arts.” says Mitchell.

About Circus Arts Conservatory

Circus Arts Conservatory (CAC) defies gravity, sparks imagination, and shapes the future through world-class performances, outstanding youth training, and transformative education. Founded in 1997 as a not-for-profit organization, The CAC honors its legacy by reimagining the art of circus for a new era. It is home to Sailor Circus Academy, the nation’s longest-running youth circus since 1949. The CAC also produces professional shows independently and in collaboration with other arts organizations, offers circus camps and recreational classes for nearly all ages, and provides community outreach. CAC was first in the nation to offer an accredited circus arts program for public school students in the arena, and CAC’s artist educators use circus arts to teach math, science, language arts, and performing arts in schools.
