Jennifer Marcus
Jennifer Marcus is a professional baton twirler and world champion from Miami, Florida, specializing in baton twirling, prop manipulation, and fire twirling. She began baton twirling at 3 years old and competed across the world as a member of Team USA for 19 years before retiring from competition in late 2016. During her tenure, she won 16 world championship titles and several silver and bronze medals. Shortly after retiring, she received a call from Cirque Du Soleil offering her a dream job, a twirling act with their newest big top touring show, Volta. She went on to perform in more than 550 shows and for over a million people on tour throughout North America until February 2019. Jennifer’s passion is inspiring youth and sharing her sport through teaching and performing. She performs in different venues throughout South Florida. Jennifer also teaches baton twirling all over the world and has regular students she teaches in South Florida and on Zoom. She also volunteers her time sitting on the Board of Directors for the national baton twirling organization, USTA. She is thrilled to be performing at Cirque Des Voix.
