Olate Dogs
The world-famous canine performance troupe was founded by Richard Olate in Chile. He came to the United States in 1989, building a high-energy act featuring his rescue dogs doing complex stunts like jumping rope, riding scooters, and forming conga lines. This act has performed with Circus Vargas, Big Apple Circus, and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. The Olate family has trained canine talent for films and commercials, and their act has appeared on the Today show and Live with Regis and Kathy Lee. In 2012, The Olate Family Dogs won America’s Got Talent and headlined a show in Las Vegas, then toured extensively, performing in support of various animal rescues.
