DESCRIPTION

Get all wrapped up in this fabulous and exciting circus art form – all it takes is confidence and strength to learn basic climbs, locks, hangs, wraps and more!

BEGINNER
Pre Registration & Mask Required
Our Beginner Silks Class is designed for intro and beginner level students.
You will learn how to safely build your foundation of aerial training by learning on the ground and then bringing it up in the air.  Basic climbs, foot locks, simple sequences and drops are some of the skills you will learn.  Classes include warm ups, stretching and conditioning.  This class is great for building upper body strength, coordination and body awareness.
CLASS DURATION: 1 hr
LEVELS: Beginner Adult/Youth 8+
(ONLY CLASS PARTICIPANTS ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE ARENA)
TIMES: Wednesdays from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. & Saturdays from 11:30 – 12:30 a.m.
COST: $30 Single Class (Pre-registration is required)
$142.50 Five Class Pack (5% Discount)
$270 Ten Class Pack (10% Discount)
(Credits expire 90 days from the date of purchase)

CLASS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class start time.
  • Wear athletic clothing (Leggings, Fitted Shirt, Socks)
  • Please remove all jewelry prior to class start.
  • Bring a water container to fill.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

INTERMEDIATE
Pre Registration & Mask Required
At intermediate level,  you will continue working on improving your body strength and technique in the air. You will learn more wraps, drops, poses, longer sequences, transitions in between tricks and will work on consistency.
This class will include warm ups, stretching and conditioning.

REQUIREMENTS: hip key and hip key combos, 360 combos, Rebecca split, French/Russian climb, figure 8, variety of drops.
CLASS DURATION: 1 hr
TIMES: Thursdays 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. & Saturdays 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
LEVELS: Adult/Youth Intermediate Ages 14+

At the advanced level, you will focus on creativity, musicality and will begin choreographing your routines by finding your flow in the air.
Class includes warm up, stretching and conditioning.

REQUIREMENTS: Students will learn more complicated drops, dynamic tricks, will build routines, learn how to flow, polish transitions, focus on lines.

TIMES: Tuesdays 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. & Saturdays 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

ADVANCED OPEN GYM

Pre Registration & Mask Required

Practice at your own pace during our Open Gyms.  No Coach present.

REQUIREMENTS: OPEN GYMS available for Advanced Students Only – Prior coach approval required.  Pre Registration required by 10 p.m. on the evening prior to each morning session.

LEVELS: Adult 18+ (Must already be an Advanced Silks Student. Prior coach approval required.)

Advanced members may attend an Intermediate class only if unable to attend their scheduled Advanced class within the membership period.  Intermediate classes are one (1) hour, no additional credit will be given.

Intermediate members may NOT join an Advanced Only class.

CAC COVID Family Guide

Stay home if you have these symptoms:

ARENA RULES

Arena Rules:

No parents or visitors will be allowed into the arena

Physical Distancing:

Everyone will maintain 6 feet of separation except when specifically necessary for safety.

Everyone will wear masks at all times unless otherwise instructed on circus equipment.

CAC COVID Precautions

Extra Cleaning:

Everyone will wash their hands and have their temperature checked before entering the arena.

Hands will be washed or sanitized in between each activity.

The arena, mats, and equipment will be completely sanitized at the end of the day using a fogging chemical agent. Common space equipment will be cleaned after each use.

Most equipment will not be shared and will be for individual use. Anything shared will be sanitized between users.
