DESCRIPTION

Get all wrapped up in this fabulous and exciting circus art form – all it takes is confidence and strength to learn basic climbs, locks, hangs, wraps and more!

BEGINNER
Pre Registration & Mask Required
Our Beginner Silks Class is designed for intro and beginner level students.
You will learn how to safely build your foundation of aerial training by learning on the ground and then bringing it up in the air.  Basic climbs, foot locks, simple sequences and drops are some of the skills you will learn.  Classes include warm ups, stretching and conditioning.  This class is great for building upper body strength, coordination and body awareness.
CLASS DURATION: 1 hr
LEVELS: Beginner Adult/Youth 8+
(ONLY CLASS PARTICIPANTS ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE ARENA)
TIMES: Saturdays from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
COST: $30 Class Drop In
$142.50 Five Class Pack (%5 Discount)

INTERMEDIATE
Pre Registration & Mask Required
At intermediate level,  you will continue working on improving your body strength and technique in the air. You will learn more wraps, drops, poses, longer sequences, transitions in between tricks and will work on consistency.
This class will include warm ups, stretching and conditioning.

REQUIREMENTS: hip key and hip key combos, 360 combos, Rebecca split, French/Russian climb, figure 8, variety of drops.
CLASS DURATION: 1 hr
TIMES: Thursdays 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. & Saturdays 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
LEVELS: Adult/Youth Intermediate Ages 14+

At the advanced level, you will focus on creativity, musicality and will begin choreographing your routines by finding your flow in the air.
Class includes warm up, stretching and conditioning.

REQUIREMENTS: Students will learn more complicated drops, dynamic tricks, will build routines, learn how to flow, polish transitions, focus on lines.

TIMES: Tuesdays 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. & Saturdays 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

LEVELS: Adult/Youth Intermediate Ages 14+

TERMS & CONDITIONS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MONTHLY  MEMBERSHIP 

  • No enrollment fee.
  • Pay month to month. Not a recurring annual membership.
  • Memberships are NOT automatically renewed and must be purchased each month.
    • Membership commences on the date of sign up (purchase) and amount will be charged on that date / not on the first of the month.
    • Membership ends one month after the date of purchase.
  • Once the membership expires, any unused classes can not be rolled over to the next month or used at a later date, under any circumstances.
  • A credit/debit card must be on file in Mind Body even if paid by Cash or Check.
  • A $35 fee will be charged for all insufficient funds, late payments, and returned checks.
  • The CAC retains the right to auto-draft member’s dues (unpaid classes or open gym’s) on the credit card on file in the members Mind Body Account.
  • Memberships paid upfront are not refundable under any circumstances.
  • No refunds , substitutions, or transfers of monthly memberships are allowed.
  • Memberships may not be shared between family members or friends.
  • On occasion classes may not be available due to special events in the Arena.
  • Class times may vary during performance weeks.  Check schedule for changes.
  • Classes cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control such as inclement weather, holidays and government mandated closings, etc. will not be refunded or rescheduled.

Membership subscriptions are not required monthly, allowing members to postpone purchase if they know in advance they can not attend all 8 classes. Drop in / single classes may be purchased between memberships.

If a member does not, for whatever reason, attend all 8 classes within the month, any remaining unused class credits will expire. Unused credits will not roll over the next month and as such there are no “Make Up” classes.

If a member would like to attend more than eight (8) classes in a membership month, members can purchase extra classes at the drop in / single class rate.

Advanced members may attend an Intermediate class only if unable to attend their scheduled Advanced class within the membership period.  Intermediate classes are one (1) hour, no additional credit will be given.

Intermediate members may NOT join an Advanced Only class.

CAC COVID Family Guide

Stay home if you have these symptoms:

ARENA RULES

Arena Rules:

No parents or visitors will be allowed into the arena

Physical Distancing:

Everyone will maintain 6 feet of separation except when specifically necessary for safety.

Everyone will wear masks at all times unless otherwise instructed on circus equipment.

CAC COVID Precautions

Extra Cleaning:

Everyone will wash their hands and have their temperature checked before entering the arena.

Hands will be washed or sanitized in between each activity.

The arena, mats, and equipment will be completely sanitized at the end of the day using a fogging chemical agent. Common space equipment will be cleaned after each use.

Most equipment will not be shared and will be for individual use. Anything shared will be sanitized between users.
