24 Hour Giving Challenge Partnership

Sarasota Orthopedic Associates to Support Circus Arts Conservatory

Sarasota Orthopedic Associates is pleased to announce their support of the Circus Arts Conservatory for the annual 24 Hour Giving Challenge on September 1st, 2015. The CAC will be raising funds for its Education curriculum: The Marvelous, Miraculous Circus Machine. This creative and engaging educational program is designed to provide interactive hands-on experiences in the classroom that reinforce science. Based on Rube Goldberg’s eccentric contraptions, 5th grade students learn physics and engineering using arts integrated methods that emphasize Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.

CEO Doug Badertscher said, “At Sarasota Orthopedic Associates, we applaud the wonderful gift of education shared by the Circus Arts Conservatory in their Education Outreach program. When children are actively engaged, they more easily understand”.

On Friday, August 21st, Sarasota Orthopedic Associates will host a day of awareness for the CAC Education program by encouraging staff and patients at all three locations to participate in the Giving Challenge.  SOA will provide popcorn and red noses at all three locations to emphasize support.  The CAC will “send in the clowns” from their Education Department, to highlight the Giving Challenge. SOA will also participate in a Facebook and Twitter campaign encouraging donors to visit www.CircusArts.org/GivingChallenge  on September 1st and support the Circus Arts Conservatory in their educational mission.

The commitment of Sarasota Orthopedic Associates is to get our patients back on their feet, back to work, back in the game, and back to life.
