COMMENTARY: Sailor Hall ceremony set

SARASOTA – The female athlete inductee will be Dolly Jacobs, who performed for the Sailor Circus and co-founded in 1997 Circus Sarasota. In 2015 Jacobs became the first circus performer to receive the National Heritage Fellowship, awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the country’s highest honor in the folk and traditional arts. More
