Box Office Hours
The CAC Box Office at Nathan Benderson Park is open Monday – Friday, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. During event dates, the CAC Box Office closes 30 minutes after the start of each performance. No tickets will be sold after this time. The Bahia Vista Box Office is closed until further notice.
Ticketed late-comers may be seated at the discretion of the House Manager in a seat of the House Manager’s selection. You may move to your ticketed seats at intermission.
At no time will any person be admitted to the performance without a ticket.
Can I get a refund on my tickets if I can’t come?
The official policy of the The CAC is there are no refunds or exchanges on tickets. Please contact the Box Office Manager at 941-355-9335, ext. 367, for further details.
Are there additional service charges or handling fees in addition to the price of my tickets?
A $7.00 per order transaction fee is applied to all orders by phone, online or at the box office if paid by credit/debit card. There is no transaction fee for orders paid by cash.
How do I buy tickets?
Tickets to all performances, including Circus Sarasota, Sailor Circus and Cirque des Voix shows are available from The CAC Box Office, at the Ulla Searing Big Top at Nathan Benderson Park, behind the Mall at UTC.
Tickets may also be purchased online at www.circusarts.org or by calling the Box Office at 941-355-9805.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, check, Mastercard, VISA, Discover, American Express and debit cards are all accepted at The CAC Box Office.
Can I go into The Sailor Circus Arena and The Big Top and check out the seats before I buy?
No, but there are seating charts available on The CAC Website and at the Box Office.
Why does The CAC Box Office need my contact information when I buy a ticket?
Your contact information is collected for verification when purchasing with a credit/debit card, or, in the event of a problem with your order, or in case a show is cancelled or postponed. The CAC does not sell, rent, trade or otherwise allow other entities access to its mailing list and email list.
How can I buy tickets before everyone else?
Join The CAC Email Club to receive an opportunity in mid-October to purchase tickets two weeks in advance of the public. To join, visit www.circusarts.org and join The CAC Email Club at the bottom of the welcome page.
Are The Sailor Circus Arena and Ulla Searing Big Top wheelchair accessible?
Yes. There are dedicated wheelchair accessible positions in both venues. Purchase those tickets by calling the CAC Box Office at 941-355-9805. When purchasing your tickets in person or by phone, be sure to tell the agent that someone in your party needs wheelchair or disability access. Disability permit parking is available at both venues.
Do you serve food and beverages?
We offer traditional circus fare including hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, nachos, sno-cones, soda and bottled water. The Ulla Searing Big Top also has a bar that serves beer and wine.
Is there a smoking section?
Smoking is prohibited in The Sailor Circus Arena and The Ulla Searing Big Top. This includes electronic or “e-cigarettes” and vape pens.
How do I check the lost and found?
Please call the Box Office Manager at 941-355-9335, ext. 367.
Are photography, audio recording and video recording allowed?
It is the policy of The CAC that audio, video and photographic recording is permitted at most performances, as long as it is for personal use, not for commercial gain. Such recording should be made discreetly from your seat. Flash photography and bright lights are never permitted. Persons whose activities disturb other audience members may be asked to cease such activities or be subject to ejection.
Where can I park?
The Sailor Circus Arena utilizes the Sarasota High School parking lot. Street parking is available after 5:00 p.m. on the weekdays and all weekend. Parking at the Ulla Searing Big Top is available for all patrons.
