Exploring the Arts in School

On a recent Saturday, Suncoast Technical College swapped its typical educational courses for halls filled with students on hover boards, teachers playing with puppets, and multitudes of artistic work provided by dozens of Sarasota organizations.

The change of scenery was due to EdExplore SRQ’s second annual ED-Stravaganza, featuring 40 Sarasota area arts, culture and science organizations offering field trips and in-class opportunities for teachers to provide for their students during the school year.
